Volumetric (Flow Controlled) Automatic Softening Systems

Calsium and magnesium ions in water are removed ion- exchange method with Volumetric (Flow Controlled) Automatic Softening Systems. Softening systems performs pre-programmed regeneration (backwash) depends on the amount of water used that is measuring by the counter. Saturated resin enters regeneration with brine by flow control mechanism, calcium and magnesium ions are removed. Automation of these filters is generally provided with Fleck, Clack, RUNXIN etc. Automation valves and PLC control with electric actuated valves systems are used as an alternative at high flow rates.

DESIGN FEATURES

Softening system design criteria is the resin bed height, between two regeneration time determination, the coefficient to be used in mineral adsorbent, the amount of essential minerals and automation system.
